ROSE
Location: San Benito, TX
Sweet Rose is very pregnant, and she is currently sitting in a shelter.
Rose arrived as a stray at Cameron County Animal Shelter in San Benito, Texas. Her shelter hold expires September 1, and we are working against a very short timeline to find her a safe place to go.
Rose doesn't simply need a foster home. She needs a maternity foster.
GOOSE

Some dogs make friends everywhere they go. Goose is one of those dogs.
At just 1½ years old, this goofy, lovable boy has never met a stranger he didn't want to befriend. Dogs? Absolutely. People? Without a doubt. Apparently, even the neighborhood possum has made his list of companions. If it has a heartbeat, Goose assumes it's a potential best friend.
YOKI
Location: Maidens, VA
Yoki is a 7-year-old neutered Great Dane who is looking for a very specific home, but for the right person, he has the potential to be an incredibly rewarding companion.
Yoki absolutely loves his people. He enjoys attention, wants to be close to his family, and has been described by his current family as an almost perfect house dog in every other way. He is house trained, trustworthy when left loose in the home, and does not experience separation anxiety. He does not get on the furniture, has no history of resource guarding, and will willingly give up his toys when asked. He is also gentle with children.
Yoki's biggest challenge is other dogs.
QUINN
Location: Edinburg, TX
Quinn is a sweet 3-year-old female weighing 61.6 pounds who needs a safe and quiet foster home where she can begin to heal.
Quinn is timid and unsure around new people, but those who have taken the time to get to know her have seen her sweet side. She even knows how to give paw. Despite everything she is currently facing, Quinn allows handling and palpation without issue and has shown no aggression, reactivity, guarding, or other concerning behaviors.
BARNABY

Meet Barnaby, a 9-year-old, 175-pound Cane Corso mix who urgently needs a safe place to land.
Barnaby arrived at the shelter without a name, so we gave this big boy one of his own. At his age and size, the shelter environment is especially difficult for him, and we are hoping to find an experienced foster or rescue placement willing to give him the time and patience he needs.
SULLY
Location: Dayton, OH
Sully is a sweet, playful, affectionate young dog who loves his people and has a wonderful foundation of training. He is house trained, knows basic commands including sit, stay, and lay down, and walks nicely on leash.
Sully is also a dog who needs a very specific home and an experienced handler who understands that his behavioral needs must be taken seriously.
NUTMEG

Nutmeg is a sweet, affectionate, happy-go-lucky girl who absolutely loves her people. She wants nothing more than to be near you, give you kisses, curl up at your feet, and soak up as much human attention as possible.
Unfortunately, Nutmeg needs a new placement urgently after an altercation with her foster home's resident dog over a toy.
BANE

Bane is a big softy with an incredibly gentle and affectionate personality. This handsome boy absolutely loves his people and wants nothing more than to be close to them. Whether he's leaning his entire body against you, resting a paw on you, sitting half in your lap, or curling up for cuddles, Bane is happiest when he's with his humans.
LUNA

Luna is a beautiful 4-year-old Great Dane/Great Pyrenees mix who is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. Her owner is relocating internationally and is unable to take Luna along.
Luna is a wonderful combination of gentle giant and goofy companion. She is house trained, walks nicely on leash, enjoys spending time outdoors, and loves attention from her people. She enjoys playing in the yard, watching the cows, and spending time with her canine friends. She has successfully lived with dogs, children, chickens, and cows.
