STALLION
Location: Baytown, TX(Transport Available)
Stallion is a 4-year-old Great Dane who has clearly endured more than any dog should. Found as a stray and weighing only 102 pounds, he is severely underweight for his breed and currently struggling with medical issues, including diarrhea and overall poor body condition. His scars and wounds suggest he spent a significant amount of time surviving on his own.
Despite everything he has been through, Stallion has remained gentle with people. He has been described as docile, walks calmly on leash, and has shown no concerning behavior toward humans. He is a quiet, resilient dog who is simply looking for a chance to recover in a safe environment.
Stallion is understandably cautious around other dogs. Based on his condition and history, it appears he may have had to compete for resources while living on the streets. However, we do not believe he needs to be an only dog. With slow introductions, proper decompression, and an experienced foster, he may do well alongside a calm, respectful canine companion.
What Stallion needs most right now is stability, patience, and time to heal. He needs a foster home where he can regain weight, recover physically, and learn that he no longer has to fight to survive. A soft bed, regular meals, and a person willing to move at his pace could make all the difference.
Stallion has survived on his own for far too long. Now he needs someone willing to help him finally experience safety, comfort, and care.
Foster or foster-to-adopt needed urgently.
