Brody's story is one of heartbreak, resilience, and hope.

About a year ago, we believed we had found him the forever home he deserved. After completing our adoption process and follow-up procedures, we were confident Brody was beginning the next chapter of his life.

Instead, he endured unimaginable neglect.

During a routine follow-up, we discovered that Brody had not been receiving routine veterinary care. Even more devastating, he had been left to suffer after what appears to have been a traumatic impalement injury. Despite our standing commitment to take any of our dogs back at any time, his adopters chose to abandon him at a shelter rather than reach out for help.

By the time Brody was back in our care, he was battling a severe infection and required intensive, around-the-clock veterinary treatment. He has fought through incredible pain, and while his road to recovery is far from over, he continues to show the resilient spirit that has captured the hearts of everyone caring for him.

Now, Brody is looking for something he's always deserved: a safe, loving foster home where he can continue to heal.

Brody will need a committed foster who can provide patience, compassion, and a quiet environment while he regains his strength. Our rescue will continue to support his medical care, and we'll be there every step of the way. All we need is someone willing to open their home and give Brody the second chance he was denied.
