From stray dog to devoted companion, Azriel has come a long way. At approximately 1.5 years old, this handsome Great Dane mix is still working on gaining back some weight after being found as a stray, but what he lacks in pounds, he more than makes up for in affection.

Azriel is a true Velcro dog who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. If you're looking for a constant companion, couch buddy, walking partner, and loyal shadow, Azriel could be the perfect fit.

Azriel has a moderate energy level. He enjoys activities and outings but is equally content relaxing at home and soaking up attention from his family.

Currently, Azriel is working through separation anxiety and crate anxiety. He does not enjoy being kenneled and is making progress with patience, training, and medication support. When left loose in the home, he has been respectful and has not shown destructive behavior.

Azriel would thrive in a home where he receives plenty of companionship and love. An active family, a household where someone is home more often, or a home with children or other friendly pets would likely be an ideal match.

After everything he has been through, Azriel deserves a family that will provide him with the stability, security, and love he has been waiting for.
